RIDERS INFO

The Organizing Committee of “ ECCO FEI European Dressage Championships for Young Riders & Juniors 2011 “ welcomes you to the wonderfull Broholm Castle. We are looking forward to the Championships and we will do our utmost to make this a very successful event.

Below you will find some valuable information, that will be updated accordingly:

Stable
The stable will be open from Monday 18th July 2011 at 08.00.
To make sure that the unloading the horses and tack will be as smooth as possible, we kindly ask you to inform your approximately arrival time by mail to the show office: bjerg@jbkhorseshows.dk

Additional hay and shavings can be picked at the stable office. Coupons to be bought in the show office.

The horses are stabled as followed:

Stable Area 1
CZE, HUN, GER, NOR, DEN

Stable Area 2
RUS, AUT,BEL

Stable Area 3
NED, GBR, ITA,POL, FRA, GRE, SLO

Stable Area B
TUR, POR, FIN, SUI, SWE, LUX, ESP

Parking
The lorries will be parked at "Gudme hallerne" which is located about 1,5 km from Broholm. there will be a limited shuttle service between Gudme Hallerne and Broholm. We recommend you to bring bicycles.

Bath facilitie
s
There will be bath facilities at Gudme Hallerne to be used by grooms and riders.

Electricity for Your Van
You will be charged with € 70 for electricity for your van for the duration of the event.

Vet. meeting
on behalf of the FEI Vet. delegation, we would like to see the team vets at a short meeting, just to say hello, so we know who is working at the show.
The meeting will be at 10.00hrs the 19th of July, one hour before the vet. inspedtion.
The show office will inform you where this short presentation will be.

Horse Inspection
The horse inspection will commence Tuesday 19th of July at 11.00. Please make sure you have arrived at the show ground at the latest at this time – as we have to close the stables.

Please note …
If you will be travelling to countries requiring additional official Horse Inspection and paperwork for the departure from Denmark or if your transporting health papers have expired -we will ask you to inform us about this immediately at bjerg@jbkhorseshows.dk as we have to request a veterinarian from the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration enabling you to leave Denmark with the correct paperwork. A fee might be imposed.

Bridle Numbers
Bridle numbers will not be provided. Please bring your own bridle numbers. Please note that your horse has to carry bridle number whenever leaving the stable.

Training areas
The training areas can be used from Monday the 18th of July at 09.00 hrs.
The Main arena can be used on Tuesdag the 19th of July as scheduled by the organiser. Each country will be allocated for about 30-45 minutes.

Chef d'Equipe meetings
The chef d'equipe meeting will take place on Tuesday the 19th of July at 16.00 hrs. in the " Thorvaldsen Sal " in the castle.
Next chef d'equipe meeting will be on thursday the 21st of July at 18.00hrs. also in the Thorvaldsen Sal.

Accreditation
Accreditations can be picked up by the chef d'equipes in the show office.
Each rider will be accreditated with 1 groom and 2 horse owners. Furthermore there will be accreditation to chef d'equipes, trainers and vetenarians.

Riders meals
Each rider will be given one free dinner meal starting from Tuesdag the 19th until Sunday the 24th of July. Coupons will be handed out to the chef d'equipes. Coupons can be used in the Cafeteria tent. ( Thursday evening will be at the Riders party )

Grooms meals
A meal package at 30,- EUR per day can be bought for the grooms. The package covers breakfast, lunch and dinner in the grooms tent at the castle. Opening hours:
Breakfast 07.00 - 09.00
Lunch 12.00 - 14.00
Dinner 18.00 - 20.00

Opening ceremony
The Opening ceremony will be on Tuesday the 19th of July at 18.30 in the main arena. Please be ready with your team at 18.15 hrs.
After the Opening ceremony there will be a reception at the showground.

Riders party
On Thursday the 21st. of July at 19.00 hrs. there will be a Riders party in Gudmehallen. Please see seperate info.
This party will be free of charge for all riders and chef d'equipes. Tickets for all other participants can be bought at EUR 25,- see seperate entry form that have to be handed in by the chef d'equipe.
