As the daughter of two top dressage riders: Sven Rothenberger and Gonnelien Rothenberger, Sanneke grew up with elite riding as part of her daily life and a view to medals on the walls in her childhood home.

But Sanneke has especially also shown that she can do well internationally. She was German champion for juniors in 2007, 2008 and 2009, where she could also boast of a gold medal at the European Championships.

In the grandest way - quite unimpressed – she brought home the German Championship for young riders in 2010. At last year´s European Championships Sanneke was a part of the totally brilliant German team, winning team gold and double individual silver for herself.

In the past year Sannneke has had fantastic results, with several placements in international junior/young rider classes. The horse Deveraux will also be Sanneke´s partner at ECCO FEI European Dressage Championships for Young Riders and Juniors 2011, as it has been at previous championships.
